Going to thw Theater

Today was a strange day for me. My son Joshua and I went to see a movie. Anyone that knows me knows I don't watch t.v. or partake in things like that. I guess bordom got the best of me today.
We went to see the Karate Kid. It was o.k. I guess. I've decided that movie theaters aren't really my thing. The seats are uncomfortable and the snacks are over priced.
I think next time I want to spend some quality time with my children it will be something else.

Just a thought

I know there was a time not long ago when the Apostolic church taught against watching television and going to the movies? And if any of them did they were not broadcasting it boldly over the internet.
It is a scary day that we are living in. The world is invading the church. Standards are being dropped. We're become lovers of pleasure more then lovers of God.
I know that standards aren't Heaven or Hell issues. I'm not trying to dog anyone.
I just feel that we are allowing to many things into our lives to take our time away from God. The internet included.
Be carefull of what we allow into our lives. The devil is out there trying his best to take down the people of God. Don't let him decieve you.
