Lesson From a strange

Today we went to lunch at The Golden Corral. There was a man there that was so happy. He was glowing he was so happy. The kind of person that you don't mind being around.
I spoke to him and told him that the world would be a better place if there were more people like him.
He started telling us about how in 2005 he was in a bad motorcycle wreck. He almost died. He was in the hospital for 3 months. He was in a wheelchair a year and a half. God has been so good to him. He walks with no problem. He has scars but he is fine. He just couldn't say enough about what God had done for him.
He gave him a wife. They were together 13 months and she died. Most people would have given up. He was still praising God for the time that they were together.
This man truly let's the joy of the Lord be his strength.
If we could get a hold of this joy that he had. Alot of times we grumble about trivial things. Each day we wake up is a gift from God. We have the Holy Ghost and we should rejoice always. We need to serve the Lord with gladness.
I don't know this man's name but God does. Let me strive to be content in all situations. This man has truly been a witness to me.

So true. We tend to take things for granted so easily. Last night at the tent meeting here in Wichita Falls, there was a young man in a wheel chair. (There are pics of him in my photos on FB) He had the sweetest spirit. He was born this way. Not able to walk and barely has the use of his arms yet he still praises God will all his might. He received a prophecy that he had touched more lives than he knew of and that he would see that in heaven. I just cried looking at him and the wonderful spirit that he had. True love of God flowing through him. :)
